The Quebec Health Insurance Board (RAMQ) has agreed to pay for life-saving cancer surgery for Kirkland resident Ella Marchildon. RAMQ initially refused to pay for the surgery not available in this province. Joe Marchildon, Ella's husband, tells 940Montreal the family is over-joyed. He adds that fundraising efforts will continue to cover related expenses and follow-up costs.
